Rye Bread

I would have photos of the final product of the rye bread I made but it got ate up really really fast.

Rye Bread

  • 1¼ cup warm water
  • 1 pkg yeast` ((2 ¼ tsp if using jarred))
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp caraway seeds
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 cup rye flour
  • 2½ cup White flour
  1. Mix all ingredients except white flour with an electric mixer

  2. Mix in white flour

  3. Cover

  4. Let rise until double.

  5. Spoon into 2 greased bread pans.

  6. Rise until double

  7. Bake at 375° for 40-45 minutes
