SIX SEVEN LAYER DINNERS

Today I have two separate layer dinner recipes from the same cookbook. The first is (obviously) a six-layer dinner, and the second is a seven-layer dinner.

The first (the six-layer) comes from Mrs. Martin Stoutjesdyk, Jr. (Shirley)

SIX LAYER DINNER

  • Potatoes (Raw, Sliced)
  • Rice (Uncooked)
  • Onions (Raw, Sliced)
  • 2 Cans Tomato Soup
  • Chopped Beef (Uncooked)
  • Carrots (Raw, Sliced)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  1. Place all except soup in casserole in layers in the order given above.
  2. Season each layer with salt and pepper.
  3. Cover with tomato soup diluted with 1 soup can water.
  4. Bake 2 hours at 350°.
