Bulgarian Meatball Soup

Bulgarian Meatball Soup

  • 1½ lb ground beef
  • 2 small onions (minced)
  • 2 tsp dill weed
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • flour
  • 12 cups beef broth
  • ⅔ cup rice (uncooked)
  • 1 lemon ((juice of))
  • 4 tbsp fresh dill
  1.   2. Form small balls and roll them in the [wprm-ingredient text=”flour” uid=”7″]

  3. Drop meatballs in boiling [wprm-ingredient text=”12 cups beef broth” uid=”8″]

  4. Add the [wprm-ingredient text=”⅔ cup rice” uid=”9″], lower heat and cook about ½ hour

  5. Add lemon Juice and additional dill.

  6. Top with a tablespoon of yogurt or sour cream
