Apple Muffins

Cook Time 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Brown sugar Firmly packed
  • 1 1/2 Cup Applesauce
  • 1/4 Cup Milk
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1 Tsp Baking powder
  • 1 Tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Chopped walnuts (Optional)
  • 1 Cup Grated apple
  • 1/2 Cup Raisins (Optional)

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 350 F
  • Grease or line 12 muffin cups.
  • In large bowl beat butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
  • Add applesauce, milk, vanilla, and eggs, blend well.
  • Stir in already blended flour, baking powder baking soda, and salt.
  • Blend until just moistened.
  • Stir in walnuts, apple, and raisins.
  • Fill muffin cups.
  • Bake at 375 F for 20-25 minutes.
  • Cool 5 minutes, remove from pan.
