One of my favorite rooms to explore during an estate sale (aka dead people stuff for sale) is the kitchen. I love finding the card boxes with hand written recipes. It tells a story about the people who lived there and what they liked to eat.

Spinach Brownies

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 sticks butter melted
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 2 cups onions minced
  • 20 oz cheddar cheese grated
  • 20 oz spinach cooked and squeezed

Instructions

  • Mix all together.
  • Place in a 9″x13″ pan
  • Cook for 40 minutes in a 350° oven
