French Chocolate Pie (It’s Chocolate + Pie + raw eggs!)

FRENCH CHOCOLATE PIE

  • Rich pastry shell
  • ½ cup butter
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 ounce chocolate (melted and cooled)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • Whipped cream
  1. Cream butter until very light and fluffy.
  2. Add sugar and cream thoroughly.
  3. Add chocolate and vanilla.
  4. Add one egg and beat for 5 minutes using an electric beater at medium speed.
  5. Add the second egg and beat for another 5 minutes.
  6. Pour into cold baked pastry and chill for at least 2 hours
  7. Just before serving top with whipped cream.
