Barbecued Ribs

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Tomato ketchup
  • ½ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp celery seed
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp onion minced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 dashes Tabasco sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • 5 lbs ribs cooked

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients (except ribs) together and bring to a boil.
  • Pour over the ribs and marinate overnight.
  • Heat through over grill or in the oven, basting occasionally with sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb jumbo marrow beans
  • 1 lb ham and fat
  • 1 lb salt pork scored
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup molasses
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tsp ginger

Instructions

  • Use end of ham if possible.
  • Cook beans in ham juice and fat until almost done.
  • Add & mix other ingredients except for the salt pork.
  • Place the salt pork on top.
  • Bake at 275° for 8 hours, adding more liquid if necessary.
