Apple Muffins
Servings 12 Muffins
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 1/2 Cup Brown sugar Firmly packed
- 1 1/2 Cup Applesauce
- 1/4 Cup Milk
- 1 Tsp Vanilla
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1 Tsp Baking powder
- 1 Tsp Baking soda
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 1 Cup Chopped walnuts (Optional)
- 1 Cup Grated apple
- 1/2 Cup Raisins (Optional)
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 F
- Grease or line 12 muffin cups.
- In large bowl beat butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add applesauce, milk, vanilla, and eggs, blend well.
- Stir in already blended flour, baking powder baking soda, and salt.
- Blend until just moistened.
- Stir in walnuts, apple, and raisins.
- Fill muffin cups.
- Bake at 375 F for 20-25 minutes.
- Cool 5 minutes, remove from pan.
