Spooned Tuna Cake
Ingredients
- 1 qt mashed potatoes
- 3 cans Chunks & Flakes or Fancy Tuna
- 6 eggs
- Pinch of nutmeg
- Salt
- pepper
Instructions
- Mix egg yolks with potato, and mix with drained tuna.
- Whip whites of eggs stiff and fold gently into mixture; do not whip.
- Season.
- Dip mixture with a large spoon, drop info deep fat at frying temperature.
- When cakes are puffed and brown, drain and serve.
