ORANGE CRISPS

Course Cookie, Dessert

Ingredients

  • Cup butter
  • 1 ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Grated rind of one orange
  • 1 tbsp Orange juice
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  • Cream shortening with sugar.
  • Beat eggs until light and add and mix well.
  • Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder and stir in.
  • Add orange rind and juice.
  • Mix to make a smooth dough.
  • Drop by tsp. onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 325° for 12 to 15 minutes. ,
