FRENCH CHOCOLATE PIE
Ingredients
- Rich pastry shell
- ½ cup butter
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 ounce chocolate melted and cooled
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- Whipped cream
Instructions
- Cream butter until very light and fluffy.
- Add sugar and cream thoroughly.
- Add chocolate and vanilla.
- Add one egg and beat for 5 minutes using an electric beater at medium speed.
- Add the second egg and beat for another 5 minutes.
- Pour into cold baked pastry and chill for at least 2 hours
- Just before serving top with whipped cream.
