Norwegian Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup apples diced
  • 1 cup nuts chopped

Instructions

  • Beat the eggs well.
  • Add sugar and the flour which has had baking powder and salt sifted in it.
  • Add vanilla, apples, and nuts
  • Spread onto two 9” greased pie tins.
  • Bake 30 minutes at 350.
  • Cut in wedges and serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
