Norwegian Apple Pie

 

Norwegian Apple Pie

  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup apples (diced)
  • 1 cup nuts (chopped)
  1. Beat the eggs well.

  2. Add sugar and the flour which has had baking powder and salt sifted in it.

  3. Add vanilla, apples, and nuts

  4. Spread onto two 9” greased pie tins.

  5. Bake 30 minutes at 350.

  6. Cut in wedges and serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
