Banana Peanut Butter Top Hats
Servings 3 dozen
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup chunky peanut butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup uncooked quick cooking rolled oats
- 2 bananas peeled and sliced
Instructions
- Cream butter and peanut butter; add sugar gradually, beating until fluffy.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Add flour, baking powder and soda, mixing until well blended.
- Stir in rolled oats.
- Set aside 1 cup of dough.
- Drop remaining dough by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
- Lightly press banana slice on top of each cookie; then cover with a small amount of reserved dough.
- Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 10 minutes.
