Banana Peanut Butter Top Hats

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup chunky peanut butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup uncooked quick cooking rolled oats
  • 2 bananas peeled and sliced

Instructions

  • Cream butter and peanut butter; add sugar gradually, beating until fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • Add flour, baking powder and soda, mixing until well blended.
  • Stir in rolled oats.
  • Set aside 1 cup of dough.
  • Drop remaining dough by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
  • Lightly press banana slice on top of each cookie; then cover with a small amount of reserved dough.
  • Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 10 minutes.
