One of my favorite rooms to explore during an estate sale (aka dead people stuff for sale) is the kitchen. I love finding the card boxes with hand written recipes. It tells a story about the people who lived there and what they liked to eat.
Spinach Brownies
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 cups milk
- 2 sticks butter melted
- 4 eggs beaten
- 2 cups onions minced
- 20 oz cheddar cheese grated
- 20 oz spinach cooked and squeezed
Instructions
- Mix all together.
- Place in a 9″x13″ pan
- Cook for 40 minutes in a 350° oven
