The Cranberries were part of my constant rotation during my early 20s.
Her death is different then the deaths of people like Bowie and Prince- they were already stars when I discovered them- The Cranberries were different. We were the same age, her voice was one of beauty and rage. Her voice had become tougher & rougher with age but still Had the ability to draw you in.
