Chocolate Pie Filling
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup light corn syrup
- ⅓ cup water
- 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 cup Heavy cream whipped
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Combine and bring just to a boil while stirring constantly the corn syrup and water.
- Remove from heat, stir until smooth, the semi-sweet chocolate morsals.
- Beat in, one at a time, 3 egg yolks.
- Cool approximately 10 minutes.
- Fold in the whipped cream and vanilla.
- Chill several hours or overnight.
