So the upcoming Saint Ann’s annual German Mass at historic Saint Louis Church (aka Buffalo Mass Mob X) has had me inspired to do some digging in the family archives for St. Ann’s stuff. My great grandparents (Charles F Eichhorn & Theresa Zielbaur) were married there in 1910 (by a Fr. Gustave Reinsch, S.J.) before moving to St. Matthew’s Parish.
Today I am posting photos scanned in from the 1958 Centennial Celebration Book. I have also uploaded a PDF of a portion of the book: Saint Ann 1858-1958 part 1 (I am still working on scanning in the advertising section- a great record of old Buffalo retail).
